Christmas in July at the Dairy Godmother

Jul 26th, 2008 by rebecca

Christmas in July returns to The Dairy Godmother. Liz writes:

It’s time for the eagerly anticipated Christmas in July! A time when we redux everyone’s favorite custard, Candy Cane, for no apparent reason.

This year we revive the spirit of gift giving by holding a drawing for some really great gifts donated by a few of my favorite retailer friends. Stop by any time during store hours on Thursday, July 24th or on Friday, July 25th between noon and 7:30 pm to enter the drawing (you don’t need to be present to win).

Frank and Amy of Whistlestop Hobbies in Old Town are giving a Lego Christmas train set. Just what every good little girl and boy deserves.

Cindy Gompert from Eight Hands Round has donated a bag of shimmery pinecones and Christmas packing tapes.

Rene,The Clay Queen, will be donating some hand crafted Christmas tree ornaments.

The Dairy Godmother herself will be giving up a treat of 50 dollars worth of gift certificates.
We have even asked Santa to come back early from his vacation in Bermuda to help us out with all this giving! Wow!

But Christmas is about giving AND receiving. We hope that you will help by donating your pocket change to Rebuilding Together Alexandria (formerly known as Christmas in April).

Please go to Rebuilding Together Alexandria to find out about this great organization. The Dairy Godmother will match your contribution dollar for dollar.

Merry Christmas!

Candy cane custard, people! How can you resist?
